Maybe he can start a third life, if the past will stay there!

Would I recommend this book: Yes! Get down with a messed up bad boy biker and his sexy bad girl in this scorching novel. You will fall in love with Crash and believe it or not his sensitive side, while admiring Gabi and the strong, gutsy woman she is.
Would I recommend these authors: Yes! What can you say about an author that does it all and does it really well. Vivian Lux continues to amaze and enthrall me with her astonishing storylines and unforgettable characters. Ms. Lux is in a class by herself when it comes to creating a world with MC bad boys and the remarkable women that they love! I cannot wait for her next release.

This is the fourth book in the Sons of Steel series, Crash's story. I am a Crash girl so I have been waiting impatiently for this one. Crash is dirty. There is nothing clean cut about the man but with his past, there isn't much light to clear the dark. He almost lost his life but beat the devil to come back. He can't remember who he was but when things fall out with his brothers he finds himself back where his life WAS.
Gabi is not weak. She has dealt with much hell in her life. Working at a bridal shop and seeing happy bride after happy bride does nothing for her optimism. One random night, she takes home a stranger that saves her from dealing with some jerks of the past. He is familiar but she can't quite place him. A face of the past that doesn't even know who he is. Crash.
Crash and Gabi work well together. He learns to let her in, let her try to make sense of his issues. She wants in; she wants him to let her help. There is some sweetness to Crash, who else would bring you flowers (weeds), he picked by himself that still have dirt attached to the roots, and make you melt with his sincerity.
"She made me want to talk, to make promises I wasn't sure I'd keep. I just wanted to make her smile that perfect smile again."
The past, his life still comes back. With Gabi, he is able to do it right this time. The Sons need him, Doc needs him.
If you love dirty bikers, you will love Crash. I mean what other guy can say "Oink Oink, baby" and make is sound sexy and dirty.
FIVE STARS. I go back and forth on biker books, but OMG, Vivian Lux's writing is so good. I'm totally hooked. I sat down to just check out the first few pages and I accidentally read half the book. Oops. No regrets. ;)
I'm an avid reader of biker romances and compared to others out there, this one doesn't meet the mark. I purchased this book b/c it had the highest rating by reviewers out of this particular series. I will not be buying any other books in the series. The story started out about a pretty wild one night stand....and that's where the excitement ended. Here's why the book was lame, it lacked character development and since I didn't care about the two main characters, It barely kept my interest. In the end the relationship seemed forced between two pretty lame, lonely, pathetic, kind of loser-ish adults.
This book didn't give me what I look for....my tummy didn't do any flip flopping, I could easily put the book down to.....I don't know file my nails, and it's easily forgettable (I had to flip back through my kindle to remind myself of the book).
Loved this whole series, but there was something about Gabby and Crash that just touched me so much more than the others.
Gabby from the "gotta be a good girl" home, and never quite making or wanting to make that kind of status to please her parents. She was a girl who marched to her own tune, her way! She didn't do ALL the things that were said of her, but she just let everyone think she did.
Crash, a nickname given by his MC brothers after his horrific crash that robbed him of his memories of who he was and parts of his life before the crash. He was a wounded guy that just didn't give a damn. He did crazy things, he was smoking hot, and ready to show a girl, any girl, a really good time - no strings attached. Until Gabby came into his life. Oh, he tried to stay detached from her, but he seemed to keep going back for more and more, and then found himself in love with her, but didn't want to tell her.
Crash inherited a house from a grandmother he barely remembered, and in her elderly, deteriorated state, didn't remember him much either. He still had issues with his MC brothers, but something kept nagging at him that they needed him, and he had to help them no matter what the cost. That cost included Gabby, but she wasn't so easily pushed out of his life and went with him. She was his match, his mate in every way!
Great read! Lives up to all the other Steel MC books! Don't miss it!!!
